Best Hostel In Quebec City

I stayed at Auberge Internationale de Quebec three times over the last two years and each time has been pure pleasure.

Ideally located in the old town, the hostel is at a short walking distance from Quebec City’s main tourist attractions, as well as the best bars, restaurants, shops and convenience stores.

I had a nice and large private room with a view on the beautiful streets of Quebec City. I particularly loved the big windows on which I could sit and read, or simply watch the pedestrians. Need to work during your stay? The room had a desk in front of a window (which I loved too). The (non-usable) fire place adds to the room’s charm and makes for the perfect place to stay at with your significant other. The double bed and bedding were also very comfortable.

Whatever you need, you’ll find at Auberge Internationale de Quebec: A coffee room where you can sit and plan your stay while getting you caffeine fix, a computer room, a big and clean kitchen, a nice bar that is open until 11pm, a babyfoot and my personal favorite, the ever so charming terrace that is only open in the summer time. Oh, did I mention that breakfast is free? Yup.

The front desk people are very efficient in explaining all there is to know about the hostel, and answering all questions.

It’s by far my favorite hostel in Quebec City and you should most definitely book with them if you plan on visiting this beautiful town soon.
