Best Hotel In Montreal For A Getaway With Your Significant Other

Last weekend marked a very special day for my husband and I and we wanted to celebrate it the right way. We felt like there was no need to travel far and decided to stay in our beautiful town of Montreal instead.

So we booked a suite at one of the most luxurious hotels in Montreal: Loews Hotel Vogue, which happens to be ideally located, in the heart of the city and close to one of Canada’s most popular streets for shopping and dining: Rue Sainte-Catherine.

Our stay was all sorts of fabulous and the service was impeccable. The hotel’s hall gave me life with its huge glass window, its comfortable sofas and its minimalist design. One side of the hall is very luminous and seems to be dedicated to relaxation and light conversations, while the other side’s ambiance is muted and has a more serious, business-oriented feel to it, with beautiful brown leather couches and chairs, laptop tables and a coffee machine. The design is refined and the atmosphere soothing.

The man at the front desk handed us the keys to our suite on the third floor of the hotel and kindly explained to us all we needed to know, from free Wi-Fi, to gym, bar and restaurant access. We were breath taken by the size and beauty of our suite. It really felt like home away from home. There was a kitchen with a mini bar filled with bottles of red wine and champagne just waiting to be bought and drunk, :p a refrigerator, dish washer, a big dining table, a coffee machine, mirrors everywhere in the suite, two bathrooms: one with whirlpool bath (heaven!), the other with a (super powerful) shower.

Did I mention the robes were the most comfortable ever? Felt like I was floating on a cloud!

After taking a quick tour of our suite, the festivities began: we opened a bottle of champagne, before dressing up for dinner.

There was a living room with a big dining table, fire place, TV, and book shelves filled with Vogue, architecture and car books.

I loved the bedroom’s decoration, with a big frame of three Vogue magazine covers on top of the extremely comfortable bed, beddings and pillows.

We left the next morning, which unfortunately didn’t give me enough time to try the hotel’s well-equipped gym, although I had brought my workout clothes just for that, but there was enough equipment for intense cardio and muscle building training! If I ever have the opportunity to stay there again, I’ll make sure to squeeze in some time to hit the gym. I don’t have photos of it because I didn’t feel comfortable taking pictures while people were exercising.

That’s all for now! I loved my stay at Loews Hotel Vogue and recommend this hotel in Montreal, so If you plan on visiting Montreal soon, especially if it’s for a romantic getaway, you know which hotel to book!
