Located in the heart of the ever so beautiful old town, at walking distance from the sublime Saint Lawrence River and Old Quebec attractions, is Le Saint-Pierre Auberge Distinctive; probably one of the most charming four-star boutique hotels we’ve had the chance to stay at. The warm colors and lighting along with the wooden pieces of furniture, parquet flooring, fireplace and red stone-brick walls help create a cozy and intimate atmosphere that is an invitation to instant relaxation one could not possibly decline.
The library
We stayed in one of the ten suites the hotel possesses. – Note that they also offer 31 rooms – The level of comfort and coziness was unmatched. We felt at home; and I’d like to insist on that point because rarely will you ever experience that feeling in a hotel. The homy sensation was emphasized by every little interior design detail, from the classic choice of furniture that could be found in one’s home (such as the white-painted wooden furniture items: the bed, the bedside tables, chest of drawers, coffee table, chairs, desk, dining table), the parquet flooring, the red brick walls, the white-tiled kitchen counter, the golden-painted radiator; to which is added a touch of modern design, thus contributing to the suite’s unique beauty.
Three different types of chocolates were gently placed on the bed, waiting to be devoured by guests.
The bed, feather comforter and deluxe beddings were so comfortable you wouldn’t mind staying in bed all day. The bathroom was equipped with whirlpool bath and L’Occitane products which citrus scent smelled absolutely divine.
A la carte gourmet breakfast is included. We ordered ours in our room, but you can have it at the hotel’s breakfast restaurant. The salmon and ham eggs Benedict were delicious.
The service was exceptional. I’d like to mention Tania, who’s been particularly amazing at taking the utmost care of us and enquiring of our well-being during our short stay. Le Saint-Pierre is apart of Clefs D’Or, which is an organization whose membership is exclusively granted to those who have not only consistently demonstrated an unsurpassed knowledge of their respective communities, but to those who demand excellence of themselves when meeting the needs of hotels’ guests.
