Vancouver Best Restaurants – Provence Marinaside

What would a trip to Vancouver be in the summertime, without trying seafood restaurants? We had dinner at Provence Marinaside on a beautiful sunny day and I must say the experience was fantastic. The restaurant is located on the marina, and features a beautiful patio with comfy looking couches and pink blankets for customers, when the weather gets cooler as the night falls.

The warm colors and chic decoration of the restaurant made for the perfect romantic eatery, although families and groups of friends also gathered to enjoy the nice and relaxed ambiance, divine food and exceptional service the restaurant offers.

Let’s get back to the food. We tried the table d’hôte, which consisted of a seafood bisque gratin, whole lobsters and dessert with wine pairing. The sommelier was fantastic at picking the wines for every step of our dinner; and our waiter along with the kitchen team were absolutely amazing for adapting my husband’s intolerance to garlic to our menu, which is quite rare in restaurants and was highly appreciated. The food was succulent and Provence Marinaside has quickly become one of our favorite restaurants in town. We cannot wait to return when we go back to Vancouver!
