Toronto Hotels – Our Unforgettable Stay At The Four Seasons Hotel Toronto

Last July, my husband and I spent a couple days in Toronto, for business and pleasure. Our weekend consisted in exploring Yorkville, which has become my favorite quarter in town. This side of the city was also where our hotel was located: the Four Seasons Toronto.  Ah, luxury and elegance at its finest. We arrived at the hotel late at night on a Friday. The party was in full swing at the d|bar. The summer’s greatest hits were playing, while the uber stylish customers would make their way in and out of the chic bar. We checked in and visited our room. The bathroom had our jaw dropped to the floor. It was huge, with bright lights (ideal for applying makeup), two sinks (the dream), a bath separate shower and toilets. The rest of our room was so beautiful. I loved the sofa and coffee table. We were greeted with sweet treats in our room, which was so thoughtful.

On the first morning of our stay at the Four Seasons, we had excellent breakfast at the renowned Café Boulud, where the service was flawless, and food was delicious. I ordered a healthy frittata, while my husband went with eggs Benedict, lattés and freshly pressed fruit juices. On the second morning we decided to order breakfast in our room and there again, we were blown away by the quality of the service. I was still in bed when the server knocked on the door with a huge round table filled of our plates. He served our lattés asked whether we needed anything and left.

I absolutely adored the hotel’s gym. I went to get a quick session in and was blown away by how complete the equipment was. I was able to do a full leg and glute session just as I would in the gym, without having to modify my workout for lack of equipment (which sometimes happens in hotels gym). From cardio and strength training machines, to weights, bands, steps, and even (I totally died) a room with huge glass windows where you can do Yoga, stretch, (take selfies) or complete other exercises.

After visiting Yorkville on a very hot and humid afternoon, we decided to relax at the hotel’s indoor pool, which is all sorts of gorgeous. Everything is made for the guests to feel like heaven on earth. I particularly loved the outdoor area with long chairs separated by plants for more intimacy, just outside the pool area. After jumping in the water, we went outside and laid for a little while with glasses of lemon-flavoured water.

Our stay at the Fours Seasons Hotel Toronto was simply fabulous. I highly recommend it to anyone planning a visit in Toronto!
